Harrison had eight solo tackles, three sacks, and one forced fumble during the close 23-20 loss to the Ravens. In total for the season, he has 31 tackles and five sacks.
This is the first time Harrison has earned the award this season. The runner-up is safety Charlie Peprah of the Packers (5.0 tkls, 3.0 solo, 2.0 int). Dolphins linebacker Kevin Burnett receives honorable mention (12.0 tkls, 10.0 solo, 1.5 sacks).

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones was on top of his game, leading the NFC in receiving yards. So far this season, he has 489 yards receiving to go along with two touchdowns.
