Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson was named the StatSheet NFL Offensive Player of the Week after leading the NFL in rushing yards. Peterson had 160 yards rushing on 23 carries, 30 yards receiving and two touchdowns in the 24-10 victory over the Lions. For the season, he has run for 392 yards and three touchdowns.
This is the first time this season that Peterson has won the award. Wide receiver Austin Collie of the Colts is the runner-up (12 rec, 171 rec yds, 2 TD). Honorable mention goes to running back Peyton Hillis from the Browns (144 rush yds, 36 rec yds, 1 TD).

StatSheet NFL Defensive Player of the Week: DeMarcus Ware, Dallas Cowboys
The NFL season high for sacks in a game was tied by Dallas Cowboys linebacker DeMarcus Ware, clearing the path for his StatSheet Defensive Player of the Week win. Ware had six solo tackles and three sacks during the 27-13 win against the Texans. In total for the season, he has 15 tackles and four sacks.
This is the first time Ware has earned the award this season. The runner-up is linebacker Tamba Hali of the Chiefs (3 tkls, 3 solo, 3 sacks, 1 FF). Titans safety Michael Griffin receives honorable mention (12 tkls, 11 solo, 1 FF).

New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez put forth an outstanding effort in his last game. Hernandez finished the game with six receptions for 65 yards in the 38-30 victory against the Bills. On the year, he has gained 211 yards receiving.
This is the first time Hernandez has received the StatSheet NFL Offensive Rookie of the Week award this season. Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is the runner-up (3 rec, 43 rec yds, 1 TD). Honorable mention goes to Chiefs tight end Tony Moeaki (4 rec, 44 rec yds, 1 TD). Running back C.J. Spiller, who finished sixth, was the highest ranking player from the Bills (four car, 29 rush yds, 1 TD).

The game high for interceptions during this season was matched by Seattle Seahawks Safety Earl Thomas. Thomas put up four solo tackles and two interceptions during the 27-20 win over the Chargers. For the year, he has 19 tackles and two interceptions.
Thomas wins his first StatSheet NFL Defensive Rookie of the Week award this season. The runner-up is Seahawks cornerback Walter Thurmond (7 tkls, 7 solo). Linebacker Sean Weatherspoon of the Falcons receives honorable mention (7 tkls, 7 solo).
