Fred Jackson was a force all day in the running game, leading the way to a close victory for the Bills against the Raiders, 38-35, at home.
Ryan Fitzpatrick punished the Raiders for three scores on 28 of 46 passing for 264 yards and one pick. Jason Campbell did his best to keep the Raiders competitive, going 23 of 33 with 323 yards passing, three touchdowns (2 pass, 1 rush) and one pick.
Jackson was a key factor for the Bills, running all over the Raiders for 117 yards on 15 carries with two touchdowns in addition to two receptions for 23 yards. In the third quarter, he took advantage of an opening for a 43-yard score. Steve Johnson was a top receiver, catching eight passes for 96 yards with a touchdown.
The Buffalo defense allowed 131 yards rushing and 323 passing.
Raiders wide receiver Denarius Moore had a productive game with 146 receiving yards, 25 rushing and one touchdown. Running back Darren McFadden also had a noteworthy performance with 72 rushing yards, 71 receiving and two touchdowns.
The Bills host the Patriots (2-0) next week while the Raiders take on the Jets (2-0), also at home.
