Despite a huge day through the air by Ryan Fitzpatrick, the Bills fell to the Jets, 28-24, at MetLife Stadium.
Fitzpatrick found pay dirt three times on 26 of 39 passing for 264 yards and no interceptions. Mark Sanchez ended up going 17 of 35 with 180 yards passing, four touchdowns and one pick for the Jets.
C.J. Spiller ran for 55 yards on 19 carries in addition to three receptions for 15 yards. Steve Johnson was a leading receiver, hauling in eight passes for 75 yards with a touchdown.
The Buffalo defense surrendered 138 yards rushing and 180 passing.
Jets tight end Dustin Keller could not be contained, putting up 61 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Running back Shonn Greene was also solid with 78 rushing yards and 12 receiving.
Next week, the Bills host the Titans (6-5) while the Jets head to Landover to face the Redskins (4-7).
