C.J. Spiller was a force all day in the running game, but it wasn't enough to avoid a loss for the Bills against the Dolphins, 30-23, at home.
Ryan Fitzpatrick was marred by turnovers, going 31 for 47 with 316 yards passing and three picks, he also added two touchdowns. Matt Moore completed 10 of 20 passes for 217 yards, two touchdowns and one fumble for the Dolphins.
Spiller was a bright spot for the Bills, running for 91 yards on 12 carries with a touchdown and had nine receptions for 76 yards and another touchdown. Steve Johnson caught five passes for 82 yards.
The Buffalo defense collapsed, giving up 254 yards rushing and 194 passing. They sacked Moore two times.
Dolphins running back Reggie Bush was impressive, racking up 203 yards rushing and one touchdown. Wide receiver Brandon Marshall also performed well with 84 receiving yards and one touchdown.
The Bills are at home to take on the Broncos (8-6) next week while the Dolphins travel to Foxborough to meet the Patriots (11-3).
